Another great tournament.
In my opinion, better than the last, but that could simply be for
the lack of Mario Party, haha.

This was our largest tournament yet, boasting 2 completely filled brackets!
We got some fresh blood on the scene this time, with Tnor's younger
siblings, Sterling, Marcus, Tyler, Valdens and Itakio joining the fray.

Though Ike the player couldn't make this tournament,
I saw more of him than i would have liked in Brawl.
Itakio seemed that he could have pulled a win in the FFA environment with snake,
but he was stopped short of finals by Bell Peppers and Beef... sort of...

I never realised it, but Halo is actually pretty fun.
I can't say it was as fun for my teammate though, as the only kill i managed
to scrape up was quickly lost to me as i jumped off the edge a few seconds later.
The odd couples of Phil and Marcus, along with Tnor and Sterling took 1st and 2nd
place respectively, which was pretty sweet.

DDR was a big hit, and Eric Weigle, who prides himself on not playing video games
spent almost all of the later 4 hours on the dance pad, getting better and better
with each passing song. I managed to not fail on the easiest difficulty, and actually started to get better towards the end of the tourney. I finally realised that returning your feet to the center position after each step is not the best way to go, haha.

The events went by pretty smoothly, and we were left with enough time to play
2 extra events, Pokemon Puzzle League, and Kirby 64 Minigames.

Seems that there are more fans of Puzzle League out there than i knew about,
as Jackson, Quinn, Nels, and Adam immediately monopolized the PL station in an effort to relive their younger years as puzzle league champions. Echoes of "Aww, poor baby" and "You're wasting my time" could be heard on either side of the basement, even Pidgey had a tough time drowning it out with his screeches.

Kirby 64 didn't have as many diehard fans however, but the game was easy enough to pick up that Phil, who hadn't had any prior experience (or at least, we think) was able to take 2nd place, and was quite adept at all 3 of the minigames.

Overall, i think it was quite the success, and i hope all of you guys had fun.
I wasn't able to catch as many of the cool going on's, which is a pain, but next time
we'll have good ol' BEACH back again to help around.

Once again, thanks to all of you that showed up, and to those of you that couldn't
make it, keep on the lookout for the next one!
